Zoya Marley with butter LONDON Tart with a Heart

I happened to have butter LONDON Tart with a Heart sitting on my desk when I finished applying Zoya Marley.  Boy was this a great combination!  It is totally girly, and so soft but still a little fun.  Tart with a Heart is one of my favorite accent glitters.  Take a look at this close up to see all the colors in it...

Zoya Marley

Zoya Marley, from the winter 2011 Intimate collection.  Marley is a very soft lilac cream, and if you look closely you can see the silver shimmer.  The micro glitter is really subtle, but does shine in the sun.  My bottle of Marley is a little gloppy, so application was a little difficult even after I thinned it out.  This is 2 coats of Zoya Marley, followed by a single coat of Zoya Armor.

Sally Hansen Scarab

Look at that bright shine!  I love the lustre shine line from Sally Hansen.  This is Scarab, an awesome shimmering teal blue duochrome.  It was really difficult to photograph the duochrome aspect of this polish, but the best way to describe it is the beautiful colors of the ocean.  This polish shifts from a very light aqua to a deep sapphire color.  This is 2 coats of Sally Hansen Scarab, followed by a single coat of nubar Diamont.

Zoya Julie

This is Zoya Julie, my namesake, from the LE Zang Toi trio offered during Fall 2012 Fashion Week.  Julie is a pastel pale purple with a great silver shimmer.  The application was flawless, no clumping or pooling at all.  This is two coats of Julie, followed by a single coat of Zoya Armor.  I have to say that this Julie doesn't really reflect me, as it is soft and subtle.  I would have preferred it to be red, however the color is beautiful for spring and I am hoping for those who didn't get a chance at it, that is will be be released with the Spring 2013 connection.

Nicole by OPI Mer-maid For Each Other

Nicole by OPI, Mer-maid For Each Other was a Target exclusive for the fall of 2012.  It is a beautiful blue and green duochrome foil.  It was opaque in just two coats, and for a foil I didn't have too many issues with streaking.  This is two coats of Mer-maid For Each Other, followed by a single coat of nubar Diamont.

A comparison of Zoya Bela and Lacy

I had a few comments on the Zoya Lucy that it just looked like a top coat.  This prompted me to do a comparison of a clear coat, Bela and Lucy.  You can see Bela is a soft pink, and really blends the nail line.  In the sun, Bela really shows pink.  Lucy really brightens your nail up, and to my eyes, brightens up the nail line as well.  I think both Bela and Lucy serve as a corrector to cover up and imperfections on your nail.  While you could just put a few clear coats on, I think either Bela or Lucy look a lot more polished.  I tend to reach towards Lucy, but that's just my personal preference.  What do you think... clear coat, Bela or Lucy?
