I see your Charla and Alegra, and I raise you a Wednesday!

The combination of Charla and Alegra was so fun that I wanted to wear it for a few days.  At the end of the second day I pulled out my stamping plates and used Wednesday to add this design over the top.  I loved the combination, and the contrast was just enough to make it look a little different.

Zoya Wednesday stamped with Zoya Jules

I just loved this delicate stamp, it was so subtle.  Zoya Wednesday was a great base, and this was the first time I have stamped with Zoya Jules.  I was pleasantly surprised at how well it stamped, and can't wait to use it again.  This was two coats of Zoya Wednesday, stamped with Zoya Jules using the Cheeky 2012 plates.

Zoya Shelby stamped with Zoya Rory, Brie and Kieko

Do you ever have a manicure you want to just wear for days, and something inevitably happens to it and you get a few hours with it instead?  This was that manicure for me.  I wanted to keep this on all weekend, and then wham, chipped 3 nails while putting my dogs leashes on.  So frustrating!  Regardless, this was 3 coats of Zoya Shelby, which I had worn for a day already, stamped using my Cheeky plates with Zoya Rory, Brie and Kieko for a gradient look.  I finished the look with a single coat of Zoya Armor.

Zoya Charla stamped with Zoya Purity

I have had a lot of fun with stamping over the last month, some more successful than others!  I found now that it is easier to try my color combos on paper first before I stamp it on my nail only to find out I don't like it and have to repaint my nail.  This design was using Zoya Charla as a base and using my 2012 Cheeky plates with Zoya purity.  I think it's supposed to be a zebra print?  It was fun to wear for the day, not something I could sport at work though!

Revlon Royal stamped with Zoya Yummy

Zoya Yummy was so fun to stamp, what a great bright cream to work with.  I used my new 2012 Cheeky stamping plates, so many different designs to choose from!  I started off with 3 coats of Revlon Royal, and stamped with a single coat of Zoya Yummy.  Just make sure if you are stamping, you let dry before you apply the top coat so it doesn't streak.

Zoya Breezi with a twist

I was completely in heaven tonight, watching the severe weather on the online dash cams of the storm chasers while painting my nails.  Since I had a little time to sit around I decided to try a stamp, and am actually pretty happy with how it turned out.  This is 2 coats of Zoya Breezi, 1 coat of nubar Diamont, and a stamp and tip stripe with Zoya Raven.  I followed with 1 coat of Zoya Armor since I have less streaking with Armor.

It is kind of fancy for a day of cleaning the basement, but my nails will look great while doing it!

Zoya Carrie Ann

Zoya Carrie Ann is what I consider to be a great classic red.  It has the most beautiful red, pink and gold sparkle mixed with a red base that is neither too orange or blue.  Carrie Ann, as well as the rest of the Wicked collection have glass flecks instead of glitter which I find easier to remove.  This is 2 coats of Zoya Carrie Ann, 1 coat of nubar Diamont.

After 2 days I wanted to try stamping a bit, and in my opinion one can never go wrong with a good black and red combo.  This is 2 coats of Zoya Carrie Ann, 1 coat nubar Diamont, stamped with Zoya Raven, and finally another coat of nubar Diamont.

Zoya Carey

Zoya Carey is from the winter 2011 Feel collection.  It is a pretty straight forward light grey.  Its a little darker that Zoya Dove.  Caery is opaque in 2 coats, but with most pastels the application can be a little tricky.

Of course I couldn't leave well enough alone, so I brought out my stamping plates and Zoya Trixie.  I really like the subtle look of Trixie over Carey.  Unless you were up close you didn't notice the sparkle.
