Zoya Kennedy with butter London Tart with a Heart

I had such a great combo the other day I had to share it sooner than later.  Winter is my favorite time to pull out my ivory and white sweaters to wear with a comfortable pair of jeans.  I don't typically pair dark polishes with white sweaters, so I reached out to Zoya Kennedy which ironically is from the winter 2011 feel collection.  This is 2 coats of Zoya Kennedy, an accent nail of butter London's Tart with a Heart, and a single coat of nubar Diamont.

Zoya Marley with butter LONDON Tart with a Heart

I happened to have butter LONDON Tart with a Heart sitting on my desk when I finished applying Zoya Marley.  Boy was this a great combination!  It is totally girly, and so soft but still a little fun.  Tart with a Heart is one of my favorite accent glitters.  Take a look at this close up to see all the colors in it...

Zoya Raven tips over butter LONDON All Hail McQueen

Not surprisingly I couldn't leave well enough alone!  I though I would add a little zip to All Hail McQueen by adding Zoya Raven tips.  I finished the look by applying a simple strip of silver foil across the seam.  Wowza, was this fun to wear!

butter LONDON All Hail McQueen (All Hail the Queen)

I bought butter LONDON All Hail McQueen the second I could in fall of 2010 and never looked back.  It has since been renamed All Hail the Queen in more recent releases.  Too say that I adore this color would be an understatement!  It is a great neutral that doesn't sparkle too much in office lighting so I can get away with it pretty easily at work.  The holographic glitter in it is so tiny that the finish is pretty glossy even without a topcoat.  This was 2 coats of All Hail McQueen followed by a single coat of nubar Diamont.  Were you lucky enough to score the original All Hail McQueen?

Zoya Caitlin with Butter London Knackered

And here is another glitter courtesy of my sparkle pusher, Meghan.  What would I do without her!  She is like my fairy glittersister.  This is 1 coat of butter London's Knackered over my manicure from yesterday, Zoya Caitlin.  Knackered is a pretty translucent oyster or mother of pearl base with holographic microglitter.  You could probably achieve and opaque look with Knackered alone, but it would need at least 3-4 coats to eliminate visible nail line.  With that many coats it begins to look a little more purple on its own.  This is 1 coat of butter London's Knackered over 2 coats of Zoya Caitlin.

Essie Dive Bar with Butter London's The Dark Knight

I promised yesterday that I would have an awesome combo today.  Essie Dive Bar is beautiful enough alone, but throwing a single coat of butter London The Black Knight takes it up another notch! The Black Night is a combination of pink, green, blue, red, gold and silver glitter is a black jelly base.  It is opaque in just 2-3 coats, however in this application I layered 1 coat of The Black Knight over Essie Dive Bar.  I find TBK gets too chunky and gritty the more layers you apply.  I applied 2 coats of nubar Diamont over TBK here to get the finish a little glossy.  The Black Knight was recommended to me by my sparkle pusher, Meghan.  Thanks Meghan, great call!

Look at this close up, its like a tiny little party!

Zoya Juno

A duochrome purple, be still my heart!  Zoya Juno is a bright shiny purple which turns to blue, gold and green in certain lights which you can see in the bottle.  I used 3 thin coats for this manicure, with 1 coat of nubar Diamont.  My ring finger has 1 coat of butter London Tart with a Heart.  Juno provides a great pop of color to any outfit.

Zoya Dana

I put Zoya Dana on last night because I needed something cheery to brighten my week up.  One of my friends, Jennifer, reminded me of this color and the friend of hers who shared the name.  So for her, on it went!  While its typically a summer color for me, it was perfect for the snow today.  Its beautiful bright pink that could almost pass as a coral or red in some lights.  It is not neon, and not too bright in my opinion.  This is 3 coats of Dana, which I think you need to avoid visible nail line.

Today I picked up butter London's Tart with a Hart on the recommendation of my sparkle pusher, Meghan.  I can see it being a great addition to almost any polish.  I couldn't help myself, so I layered it right over Dana.  It was like spring on my nails!
