Zoya Charla

This is Zoya Charla from the 2010 summer Sparkle collection.  It just jumps off your nails and reminds me of a mermaid tail.  I would say it is a little more blue than green, and the sparkle is incredible.  Application is very smooth, and I used 3 good coats of Charla and a single coat of Zoya Armor.  The more coats of Charla, the deeper and darker the color.

Zoya Brie

Zoya Brie is such a refreshing berry colored creme polish.  It is bright enough for a summer color, but dark enough to wear through fall and winter.  Brie was a flawless creme to apply that was opaque in just 2 coats.  I have a ton of Zoya pinks, but for some reason I keep going back to Brie.  This is 2 coats of Zoya Brie, and a single coat of nubar Diamont.

Zoya Charisma

Gosh, this color was the hardest color I have had to photograph.  It is so much brighter and more neon in person.  It does dry matte, so will require a topcoat to get glossy.   Zoya Charisma will also chip a bit quicker since it is matte.  I loved this color so much I put it on my toes too!  This is 3 coats of Charisma, and a single coat of nubar Diamont.

I normally don't post pictures of my feet, but when I was heading out to golf a couple of weeks ago I was actually sad to put my golf shoes on.  I love the way Charisma looks with my black sparkly sandals!

Revlon Royal stamped with Zoya Yummy

Zoya Yummy was so fun to stamp, what a great bright cream to work with.  I used my new 2012 Cheeky stamping plates, so many different designs to choose from!  I started off with 3 coats of Revlon Royal, and stamped with a single coat of Zoya Yummy.  Just make sure if you are stamping, you let dry before you apply the top coat so it doesn't streak.

What a gorgeous bright blue jelly!  Revlon Royal was a real treat to wear, and a great base for nail art.  It is a jelly, so it isn't totally opaque.  This is 3 coats of Royal, and you can still see a bit of visible nail line.  For a jelly, it applied relatively easy, however removal was a little more difficult.  My fingers has a blue tint to them for a few days!

China Glaze Pull Me Close

It almost seems like everybody and their brother have a release of magnetic polish now, but I still think that China Glaze is one of the best.  Every once in a while it is fun to put this polish on, especially when it's sunny outside and you can really see the color shift, or cat's eye effect.  As with all my magnetic polish, I start with a coat of Zoya Raven, and then follow with the magnetic coat.  It really seems to make the pattern pop more, given that Raven provides a dark base for contrast.  China Glaze Pull Me Close went on flawless, so easy to apply the pattern too, and dried so shiny it almost didn't require a top coat.  I did follow with a single coat of nubar Diamont, and don't forget to let the design dry for a while before applying the top coat so the lines don't drag.

When I packed my bag for Las Vegas a few weeks ago, I took Zoya Brie, Zoya Wednesday, and Zoya Hermina with in my padded Zoya gift box.  I didn't intend to wear them together while out there, but seeing them all in the box looking so pretty I knew I had to try something when I got home.  I started with a base coat of Hermina, added the stripe of Wednesday, and added the dot of Brie with an extra little sparkle.  I am loving the look of these colors together!

Zoya Myrta and Zoya Julieanne

Not sure that I love the orange and purple color combination, but it was a fun look for a hot summer day.  I had Myrta on for a day, and added Julieanne as an accent nail with a few coordinated sparkles.  I thought Julieanne and Myrta paired nicely, given that the finishes are pretty similar.

Zoya Charisma and Zoya Trixie

Who doesn't like a bold silver manicure?!  Zoya Charisma was a great base to work with.  I wore just that color for 2 days before I added the silver tips, but forgot to take a picture.  Next time I will catch a swatch of just Charisma.  I used Zoya Trixie to achieve the great silver tip in just one coat.  Following Trixie, I used a single strip of silver tape to really give it a clean edge.  A tip when working with Trixie, make sure it dries for a while before putting a top coat on, especially when mixing with a creme.  The top coat will pick up silver particles from Trixie if it isn't dry enough.

Zoya Myrta

Well, I certainly didn't expect to like this color and didn't originally order it when the 2012 Surf Collection came out.  I came in the Pinterest trio, which I have 2 extra to give away, and it is starting to grow on me!  I really don't have anything like this in my collection.  Myrta is a tangerine, fiery orange, red and and coral all mixed into one.  The fleck in it shines both gold and silver so it isn't too warm or cold.  This manicure was 2 coats of Myrta followed by a single coat of Zoya Armor.

Zoya Kimber

Zoya Kimber is from the Summer Surf collection for 2012.  It also was voted one of the top 3 colors from the Beach and Surf collections in Zoya's pinterest contest.  I got my hands on 2 extra Pinterest trio's that I will be giving away shortly.  Kimber is almost a watermelon pink, packed with some beautiful gold flecks.  It was so eye catching in the sun!  Application was fabulous, it was opaque in 2 coats.  I followed it with a single coat of nubar Diamont.  Watch over the next day or two for the giveaway!
